introducing the Impact XPU Skateboard deck
Ready to take your skate game to the next level? Say hello to our cutting-edge XPU technology skateboard deck, crafted with passion, precision, and durability in mind.
At the heart of our philosophy lies a pursuit of perfection. We want to make this deck the highest performing skateboard deck in the world. That’s why we currently produce only limited batches, ensuring each iteration of the Impact skateboard deck undergoes rigorous testing and refinement. All this is guided by invaluable feedback from our passionate skateboarding community.
IMPACT XPU 1.6 – NEXT-GEN FEEL, PROVEN DURABILITY
The latest evolution is here. Version 1.6 builds on everything riders loved in 1.5—but introduces a major game-changer: an all-new mold.
We’ve reshaped the concave, moving from a full radial to a slightly progressive profile—a deeper, more intuitive feel that most skaters will instantly connect with. Expect greater control, faster flicks, and a more locked-in ride. Simply put, it feels right under your feet.
Still light at just 1.29 kg (8.25″), and stronger than ever thanks to a refined production process—designed to hold up under heavy riders and brutal impact.
What sets impact skateboard deck apart?
Our decks are built with passion, cutting-edge tech, and a whole lot of sweat to deliver unparalleled performance:
UNRIVALED Durability
We know you demand gear that keeps up with your toughest sessions. The Impact XPU is engineered to last up to 8–10 times longer than traditional maple boards, so you can forget about cracks, snaps, or delamination. Push your limits, land those big tricks, and never let your deck hold you back!
OPTIMISED WEIGHT-TO-STRENGTH RATIO
At 1.28 kg for an 8.25″ deck, the Impact XPU sits on the lighter side of the street-deck spectrum—just ≈40 g heavier than a benchmark 7-ply maple like the Real Classic Oval (≈1.24 kg at the same width). In practice, barely noticeable under your feet—but paired with a construction that survives way more abuse.
RAZOR-TAIL & ABRASION RESISTANCE
Edges reinforced with our in-house polyurethane (PU) formula are 13 × more resistant to razor-tail (in lab environment). Lab tests show it takes 13 × longer to wear down than a classic 7-ply Canadian-maple deck.
Chips & Waterproof
Rain, puddles, curbs—whatever the environment, the Impact XPU won’t chip or get waterlogged. It’s designed to stay solid no matter the conditions, so you can skate with confidence anywhere, anytime.
IMPACT SHIELD
The Impact XPU is your ultimate partner for big drops and high-impact tricks. With a completely re-engineered structure, it absorbs and disperses shock like a pro. Bad landing? No problem—this deck holds strong.
Ultimate Performance
Looking for the perfect slide and pop? This deck delivers:
- Long, smooth slides: Forget constant waxing. The FlowSlick surface glides better and longer than any other deck—right out of the box.
- Snappy Pop: Stays lively and consistent for the deck’s entire lifespan.
Tested and proven by riders like you, the Impact XPU takes performance to new heights.
Revolutionary Construction
What’s inside the XPU Construction? It’s a cutting-edge blend of:
- Vertically laminated wood core
- Carbon fiber
- Glass fiber
- Impact-Proof Polyurethane Sidewalls
- FlowSlick layer
This combination creates a deck that’s tough, flexible, and built to handle anything the streets throw at it.
Built by Skaters, for Skaters
No BS, just the real deal. We put this deck through the wringer so you can trust it’ll stand up to whatever you throw at it. Because at the end of the day, we’re skaters just like you, and we wouldn’t put our name on anything less than legit.
Feel the difference — Ride Impact XPU.

Impact XPU Orange Drip Deck

As advertised- feels sturdy and high tech!
Got this board as a present from my buddy about 9 months ago. And i must say this product is amazing. I weigh 100kg and not a single issue with this board. Stable, pop is good, and doesnt go in to two pieces.
Defenetly will buy again if mine breaks.
THIS IS THE GOAT OF ALL SKATEBOARDS! — been skateboarding for 21 years and I must say this is hands down the best skateboard I’ve ever used in my life. I bought the 8.75 twin and normal and the 8.5 twin and normal. The best was the 8.5 Twin imo. I recommend that one. (if you also skate that board size of course) ——- and now to the really NERDY stuff. The board construction is 11/10. it doesn’t make any sense, how is it even possible. the slick layer normally makes every board 150 grams heavier, and the orange plastic around the board should add another 100 grams, this board should be almost a whole skateboard truck heavier, but it’s the same weight as the Powell Flight board without those features. are you kidding me. (Weight is important to me because I like to do a lot of flip tricks and normal wooden boards are just too weak for me, i always used to break them in 2 weeks, sometimes 2 hours.) But anyways….
Board Shape ——- first of all, this board has pop, I probably have my highest flatground kickflip on this board. And heelflips flip really fast. The only issue i have is just personal preference on my side. I like mellow boards for 2 reasons: 1. less ghost Pops and 2. less chance of your flicking foot getting caught up on the nose, both of them are scary if you do flip tricks down stairs. (ps: UPDATE!—- I did the neen william/daewon song car trick to transform the board into a mellow shape (at least the kicks), and it worked. 🙂 (I‘m sorry, it probably breaks the enginneers heart to hear that, but on the other hand it‘s pretty cool to say I had to run the board over with my car to make it better, It also has more flex now, which is so nice. 🙂 it’s perfect for me now. and I also rounded off the sharp edge around the board, because that was the cause why shinners hurt so much.)
Anyways, ———- CONCLUSION: I was literally using „only the 8.75 Flight board“ for the last 6 years, but this board is better. I will continue using the Impact boards. And I actually don‘t want to critique such a masterpiece of engineering, (i could never build something like that) but If I had to give any constructive criticism, is that If It‘s possible to give the board a bit more Flex somehow, that would be nice. because it hurt‘s less to jump down stairs or out of a kicker if the board has flex, (probably only a 30+ year old skater problem) maybe I need to give the „lite“ version a try, but i like how light this one is)……… but whatever, one last thing, I‘ve seen on instagram the new „prototype“ or what it is, and because that one was black I was thinking to myself: is it possible to make the „Plastic“ around the board a wooden colour, that would be kinda cool, the orange one also has a nice fresh look, but wooden would be my personal favorite. anyways, —– thank you for making this. And if anyone still reading my insanely long comment, thank you, and give this board a try, these guys are building greatness here. Happy skateboarding.
Absolutely love this — thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed review.
It means a lot, especially coming from someone with 21 years on a board. We’re really stoked to hear the 8.5 Twin hit the sweet spot for you and that the deck delivered on the things that matter most.
Also, huge respect for the proper nerdy breakdown. Comments like this make all the work behind the construction worth it.
If you want a bit more flex, definitely try the XPU Lite version next. It keeps more or less the same overall XPU feel, but with a bit more flex built in, so that might be much closer to your personal preference.
As for the shape — we hear you. You’re definitely not the only skater who prefers a more mellow shape, and we know the steeper kicks are not everyone’s favorite. It’s something we’re aware of, and introducing a more mellow shape in the future is absolutely something we want to do.
Thanks again for the support, the honesty, and for pushing the board hard enough to really know what it does.
greetings from Poland,
Impact Team
